Co-Lab Projects maintains an open and ongoing call for object based exhibitions, site-specific installations, guest curated exhibitions, performances, experimental music, video and film screenings, educational programs, workshops and other collaborations. As a means of expanding Co-Lab Project's programming into the digital realm, artist/curator Vladimir Mejia selects artists to participate in #bitres an Instagram hosted month-long residency. APPLY FOR GRANT FISCAL SPONSORSHIP

 

Co-Lab Projects provides fiscal sponsorship for individuals, collectives, and unincorporated organizations looking to apply for grant money. Co-Lab charges a flat 10%-of-award fee, for which you will receive fiscal sponsorship (AKA umbrella status) for your project, at least two close reads with suggestions on your grant application and budget, assistance with the application/reporting process, inclusion of your project in our newsletter, and highly reduced insurance rates.

Community Initiatives is a City of Austin grant program that provides funding for public arts events (e.g. a fashion show, a film series, an exhibition of paintings or sculptures, a site-specific installation and performance, etc.). The final deadline of 2019 is April 29 for programs happening in July, August, or September 2019. Guidelines for FY19-20 will be available in May or June. Core Cultural Funding is a City of Austin grant program that provides funding for the programming of organizations and individuals who have a strong track record of producing public arts events. If you received Core funding in 2018, applications are due May 1, 2019. If you did not receive Core funding in 2018, applications for new organizations will open in May 2020.
